Dear Fellow Alumni,

The Executive Committee of the Howard University Division of Allied Health Sciences Alumni Association would like to extend this invitation to join DAHSAA. Our first year was a very exciting and eventful one. We are pleased to report to you on the progress we have made in these twelve short months. Our activities throughout the year continue to confirm that alumni want and need a medium for keeping them involved with the University and the Division of Allied Health Sciences.

From the beginning, the Executive Committee committed all of our efforts to work together to build a strong, active alumni association. We have been hard at work, keeping our vision alive and our plan on course. Since last year, some of our activities included:

• NETWORKING- DAHSAA’S Homecoming Social provided a venue for networking and fellowship among alumni and their families and friends.
  
• STUDENT SUPPORT AND GUIDANCE- DAHSAA has begun work on establishing endowed scholarships to provide assistance to students in the Division of Allied Health Sciences.
  
• VOLUNTEER SUPPORT- DAHSAA members assisted the Office of Alumni Affairs in numerous recruitment activities.

DAHSAA is thriving, but is only as strong as its membership. By joining DAHSAA, you not only strengthen your bond with the University, but you help ensure that our future graduates share in the experiences of being a DAHS alumnus. We hope that you will support DAHSAA, attend activities and meetings and participate on one of the committees. Let me assure you, we have embarked upon an extraordinary journey to take DAHSAA to a future filled with greatness.

Please fill out the attached Membership Application Form and remit with payment to the address above. Our annual dues are $25.00, which does not include the required concurrent membership in HUAA. You may complete the HUAA application and submit together with the DAHSAA application and check or money order for $60.00 to cover both dues.
