The purpose of the Educational Resources,
Inc (ERI) Total Testing Program is to optimize NCLEX Success
for students within the Nursing Department.
Students are required to take a number of diagnostic tests
that correspond with certain courses throughout their matriculation
within the Nursing Department. (See the list of clinical
and non-clinical courses and their associated diagnostic test)
The total testing program consists of standardized tests
in all major clinical subjects, the related sciences and advanced
concepts such as Critical Thinking, Health Promotion and Disease
Prevention. Also included are a Nursing Entrance Test (NET)
and a PreRN review course.
This program is mandatory for all entering undergraduate
students. Successful completion for some test is mandatory
for progression to the next clinical course.
