DIVISION OF NURSING TRANSFER REQUIREMENTS
Transfer/Advanced Placement Students
Transfer students must have a minimum cumulative GPA of no less than 2.8 and must have successfully completed a minimum of one (1) full semester of undergraduate course work in order to be considered for admission. Advanced placement students must have 55 credits that satisfy the BSN degree requirements. After evaluation of transcript (s), applicable credits will be transferred to degree requirements. Nursing courses are generally not transferable. Official transcripts must be received before eligibility for admission may be determined. Internationally educated students must have a transcript evaluation by World Education on Services (WES) or a similar service.
Advanced Standing/Transfer Credits
Courses accepted for transfer will be determined by the Office of Students Affairs. Only courses passed with a grade of "C" or better will be considered for advanced standing. Students may be required to submit course descriptions or course syllabi to verify course content.

Advanced placement for non-nursing courses may be obtained through successful completion of American College Testing Proficiency Examination Program (ACT PEP) in Anatomy, Physiology, Microbiology, and Statistics. Upon successful completion of the ACT PEP, credits will be awarded for the appropriate course. Other pre-approved courses may be challenged through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP) For additional information about challenge examinations contact:
