Successfully complete the transition course* and receive 13 academic credits toward the BS in Nursing at Howard University: Lifespan Health Promotion & Assessment (4 credits), Therapeutic Interventions (4 credits), Orientation to Nursing 2 credits), and Theoretical Foundation (3 credits) The co-requisites may conveniently be taken during the same semester as the above transition course.

BSN Requirements

  • Minimum degree requirement: 124 credits
  • A 2.5 CGPA is required to start junior level courses.
  • Last 30 credits must be completed at Howard University.

Upon completion of the transition course and all pre-requisites, the BSN program may be completed in a minimum of three semesters of full-time study.
