The purpose
of this study is to explore the perceptions
and experiences of black women in transition
to menopause. Menopausal symptoms and midlife
health risk management strategies used by urban
black women will be assessed. This study will
also explore health risks black women associate
with midlife, such as cardiovascular disease
and osteoporosis. |

The purpose of
this study is to determine the affects of Social Skills Training
(SST) in increasing resiliency and decreasing disruptive behavior
in youth. Youth participants will be assessed, treated and evaluated
in an after school program to evaluate behavior change and learning.
This intervention seeks to break the cycle of risk-taking behaviors
in pre adolescent youth. |
